Beginners will find just as much terrain in the five ski regions, as experts, holidaying families or snowboarders. In numbers this translates to 280km of easy slopes, 483km of intermediate slopes and about 97km of difficult slopes. If you want to be at high altitude then Ski Amade is the perfect choice for you: the slopes here range up to an altitude of 2,700 metres. More than 260 quaint and cosy huts and mountain restaurants are located within the ski resorts.

Just remember that once you get above 1,000 metres above sea level everything is informal and comfortable, you can leave the formalities at home. Those who have exhausted themselves on the wide slopes can relax in the huts and try savoury or sweet specialities.
