Those who have always wanted to try their luck angling but haven't managed it, as they've found the equipment, fishing tackle, permits etc. a little off-putting, will find the Lammertal fish ponds which are managed by the Lämmerhof Alpine guest house the ideal place to give it a go.
The Lämmerhof team will give you some angling equipment as well as the opportunity to cook the trout that you catch or to buy some trout (according to weight) at the fish pond lodge. As they say here to wish you a good catch - Petri Heil!
The Lammertal fish ponds
During the summer months the Lammertal fish ponds are open to visitors upon reservation with a minimum of 15 guests. The friendly staff are available throughout the afternoon, regardless of whether you would like to take freshly caught fish home with you or if you would like to cook it at the fishing lodge. You will be served cold drinks, mixed salad and bread just like you are in a restaurant, but with a single dish on the menu: trout meunière.
Nothing can stand in the way of your angling trip. If you are arriving in a bigger group we kindly ask you to let us know and place your reservation. In this way we can reduce unnecessary waiting times for you or avoid them completely.
