A trip by horse-drawn sleigh is considered by many of our guests at the Laemmerhof to be one of the most beautiful experiences of the Salzburg winter. You can choose between two long tours and one short tour. The long trips by sleigh lead to beautiful Neubachtal with a stop-off in the Wieseralm or a trip on the horse-drawn sleigh trail to St. Martin in the Tennengebirge Mountain Range.
Since the fresh mountain air will make you hungry, a stop is planned during the three-hour sleigh ride to St. Martin. At the Gasthof Zur Post, you will be served a hearty meal before Mirabell and Laura take you back to your cosy hotel, the Laemmerhof. The short, one-hour tour takes you into the Lammertal to the Hofbauern.
Sleigh rides in Salzburg: prices
The three-hour sleigh ride to St. Martin or the Neubachtal, including refreshments, costs €18 per person. Children between 3 and 12 years old pay half price. The short tour without a stop costs €12 per person and €6 for children between 3 and 12 years of age.
