Easter holidays at the Lämmerhof

Family holiday at Easter at the Lämmerhof
Easter at the Lämmerhof

Easter week at the comfortable 3 star hotel with farmhouse

Try to imagine it: A small farmhouse in the Salzburg region where the initial spring flowers are beginning to shoot up, and warm rays of sunshine are falling on the névé snow. It is now time for Easter week to start at the Lämmerhof Alpine guest house.

Whether you would like to enjoy the warm rays of sunshine during a spot of skiing or you simply want to spend a few days away from the daily grind, if you spend Easter at the Lämmerhof you can enjoy a countryside break without missing out on the comfort of a hotel.

Painting eggs, making Easter jewellery and joining the Easter basket hunt

You will be able to see how varied the programme at the Lämmerhof is on a family holiday with your children. The Easter week brings out the local traditions and customs which are alive and well in the Salzburg region. At the Lämmerhof, your little ones can try their hands at making Easter jewellery, colour in and paint Easter eggs, or take part in an adventure Geocaching scavenger hunt in the neighbouring woodland. On Easter Sunday it is traditionally time to hunt for the Easter basket.

Get active, enjoy the sun and stock up on energy

While the children play outside or go and visit the farm animals in the stable, parents can take part in the weekly activity programme, stock up on energy and relax. Your host, Anita, will accompany you on a snow shoe walk through the Lammertal or on a Nordic walking tour in the blooming landscape. Those for whom this isn't enough can give a skiing tour a go and explore the surrounding Alpine meadow on an introductory tour.

Sunshine skiing in Dachstein West

Sunshine, névé snow and great fun - on and off the piste: all things that you will be bound to enjoy when you partake in some sunshine skiing in the Dachstein West family skiing area. As the skiing season draws to an end, the region comes alive again with numerous events, live music in all of the lodges and the famous "Gaudi"- or great fun - with the fun-slopes and mascots. Those who are clever make sure they get up early, take the first cable car, and make the most of the freshly prepared pistes. Around noon it's time to relax on one of the deck chairs at the skiing lodges and work on your tan in good time for the summer.

And then? Lean back, get comfy and relax!

Those returning to the Lämmerhof after some sunshine skiing or the activity programme can head for the wellness area straight away for some well-earned relaxation. The sauna is nice and hot already, and the whirlpool is waiting for them. In Anita's Pamper Parlour, guests can relax even more with massages and treatments. Those who would like to can stock up on some additional warmth with a bath in the floating tub, or do something good for their skin with a facial treatment. And a treatment usually means your tan will last a lot longer.

If you are already planning your family holiday and are seeking somewhere in the heart of nature and away from the daily grind, a couple of carefree days at the Lämmerhof can be just the right choice. The Heddeger family will be pleased to respond to your non-binding holiday enquiry or receive your online booking.
